After a full revision, The Voyageurs: Discovery in Havenswood Valley is ready for marketing! Pretty fun, pretty nervous, but it's time to send out some query letters and see if anyone will bite on my novel. It will be interesting to hear the feedback and see what I will need to do for a successful launch.
A few ideas to work on, I'll keep you posted!
This blog is for my novel The Voyageurs: Discovery in Havenswood Valley. The book is set to be released Saturday, November 22! Details below!

Finally Done!
The book is finished!
Now what in the heck am I supposed to do?
I knew this day would come, just happened quicker than I thought. Yes, I did read that you are supposed to be promoting your book as soon as you can, but how can that be possible with so much life going on?
Give me an editor and an agent, that would have helped. But hey, I am looking forward to this part of the project. Figuring out a way to finance the editing, looking at what the published book can look like,( I really want a traditional hardback ), and just executing the process will be a great win for me.
The way I am looking at this is like it will be a product to launch, an event to be held, a party to be thrown! It will be fun, crazy, hard work, long hours but the best part is I really feel good about how the story came through and I'm already thinking of how to start book two in the series.
Time to get started!

Staying Focused!
Another chapter finished last night, starting a new one this evening. J'net said she feels the momentum rolling towards the ending, which is what I need to hear! I have what I see as the next three or four chapters ready to write, just have to keep putting in the time!

Rounding Third
Looking ahead I'm able to see a faint light of hope beaming towards me from the finish line. As with my running, I am trying to keep my form in good shape and accelerate my pace to the end.
It ain't easy!
Pre-planning more on what lies ahead in the story, tighter plots per chapter, cleaner dialog between characters.
So hard to predict the day I will be able to write The End, but my guesstimate is end of March. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
